Study of Universal Thermal Comfort Index in Hosing Estate Public Space in Bangkok, Thailand

A lower external temperature increases comfort and reduces the chance of heat stress; it can be impacted by density urban area, this is an important issue for residents in housing estate developments. Therefore, to sustainably reduce issue, manage public spaces’ development. This article reports results studies on increasing thermal areas adding different types shading into computer programs, Rhinoceros Grasshopper, calculate Universal Thermal Comfort Index (UTCI). Increasing outdoor done shaded via large trees that result reduction humidity increase, but they do not obstruct air circulation. The used as a guideline design spaces estates meet efficiently support users’ expectations.
